 也許我看的日文小說不夠多，但我總覺得在輕小說和言情小說裡，「こくり和うなずく(點頭)」這兩個詞用得很氾濫。這類小說通常只輕淺地鋪陳故事，不作深刻的心理描述與背景說明，因此大量出現讀者可以輕易在腦中顯現情境的對話。而在對話的過程中，囿於日本人的欲語還休性格和意在言外的習慣，話語精簡到不行，因此頻頻出現浮面描寫的身體語言：點頭、微笑、睜大眼睛、瞪視、皺眉、舉手等等。這裡面，點頭出現的機率很高。
